Working with East Durham Creates and Trimdon Station community centre, I created a project that will get people being creative with photography over lockdown. We made up 36 packs that included:
- cyanotype paper,
- cyanotype fabric,
- Ilford darkroom paper,
- a can of pop, scissors,
- an acetate negative,
- black card,
- tape,
- a dress pin,
- a sewing needle,
- a selection of threads,
- an embroidery hoop,
- and a workbook that I designed for people to work through.
Every week we are meeting up online to discuss how they have found the challenges, to advise if they want to revisit some of the ideas. I will keep the full project here for ease of access, and will add to the content as we go along.
