New photography courses for you to enroll in this summer!
It’s been a while since artist Jo Howell has put on some photography courses from her studio. Now there are 3 different courses for you to join!
You can enjoy the basics of smartphone photography which increases your knowledge, confidence and skills across 6 structured lessons.
Then there’s the amazing 6 week basics of cyanotype course. These sessions will introduce you to photographic chemistry, how to use it, what you will need and how to incorporate your digital or smartphone photography in the printing process.
And, finally there is the getting to grips with your DSLR which is another 6 week course to help you to understand the functions of the camera, how to photograph different situations and will give you the confidence to make use of your camera.
Each session is individually tailored to ensure that the learning process is effective and fun for everyone.
Sessions will be delivered from the artists studio in Roker. If you have access needs please email and we could move the sessions to a more accessible venue.
If these courses are fully subscribed as they are limited to 10 places I will arrange more sessions. If you are a novice at photography I suggest starting with smartphone photography before doing the DSLR or cyanotype photography sessions.
